Volunteer

Improving the environment and facilities here at Orchid Meadows will always be a work in progress. If you want to learn new skills and do something satisfying and worthwhile, why not volunteer to help out? We are part of the World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms (WWOOF) network and offer a warm welcome to WWOOFERS from everywhere.

 

In particular, we are interested in hearing from people who might like to work in the following areas:

 

• Living willow sculpture

• Natural plant dyes

• No-dig growing systems

• Juicing and cider making

• Preserve and chutney making

• Baking

• Tree planting and maintenance

• Illustration

• Gardening, both flower and vegetable/fruit

• Furniture upcycling, oiling and painting

If you have a special skill you can bring to the party, that would be welcome too.

​

And it is not all work and no play - you will have time off to explore the mountains and coastline of beautiful West Wales or simply relax here at Orchid Meadows amongst nature.
