Events at Denmark Farm

A short journey from Orchid Meadows takes you to Denmark Farm, a conservation centre run by the Shared Earth Trust. Wildlife is at the heart of everything they do and the centre offers a range of opportunities to enjoy and learn about nature.
Denmark Farm runs events and training courses in habitat management, species identification, natural crafts and sustainable living and this could provide a great additional focus for a stay at Orchid Meadows. This year you can choose from topics including bee identification, willow and rush weaving, bushcraft, roundwood timber framing, permaculture and spinning with a drop spindle. Alternatively, you are free to visit anytime to enjoy the nature trails around the 40-acre site.
