A stargazer's night sky awaits at Orchid Meadows

Recent guests Lowell and Jane captured this stunning night sky on camera during their stay. Orchid Meadows is on the edge of the Cambrian Mountains Astro Trail with its Dark Sky Discovery Sites but you don't need to leave the site to enjoy a star-gazer's delight. This shows the heavens above Red Kite Yurt - notice the explosion of light as someone opens the door to the yurt and also activates a motion-sensitive safety light.
