We have welcomed four new hens to our henhouse, all Calder Rangers from a nearby poultry farm. They are essential additions to our flock because recent events have left us eggless. Katy and Jackie have decided that laying eggs is just so-last-year while Sara has sadly left to join the great henhouse in the sky. For a glamping site that promises fresh eggs to its guests, this has, paradoxically, left egg on our faces. Hence the need to splash out on some extras. As you can see, they are really hard to tell apart, so to avoid confusion we have decided to call them all Sara. The original Sara would have approved. The Saras should be laying in a week or two, so it's definitely time to stock up on bacon!
