Yesterday we started juicing our early varieties of apples with willing help from volunteers Clara, Maja and Fjonn (pictured). The family from Thuringia in Germany are spending a week with us through the Wwoofing scheme (Worldwide Opportunities on Organic Farms) to develop their skills and also pass on some of their own to us. It's a win-win partnership with us getting the chance to carry out some long-waiting jobs and them having a break in beautiful surroundings. You can find out more about how to Wwoof on our Volunteer page.
